  Love this spot ... not a pretentious hipster coffee shop, just great low key place to get some of the best coffee  around with some tasty treats to boot.  Working from home I drop by daily for my morning coffee as well as often going in for lunch too...
  
  Owner is a great NY personality type... awesome if you are a normal person but takes no shit and would rather you go else where than deal with a whining, sniveling holy than though type ;) ... but Johnny ... two Fridays in a row you guys were out of cookies. I had a routine man, get good and toasted at Mezcalitos and cap it off with a cubano and cookie. Save me a cookie man!
  
  Don't have a pooch myself but can only imagine what bonus the dog park must be.
  
  Honestly I haven't wanted to leave a good review because I want to keep this little gem to myself but love the place and staff enough that I had to finally do it.

  Used to be better, or maybe it seemed better with less competition around. When you get used to the other dog friendly places having cold brew/nitro/ astro-turf and people to keep it clean...well, it's easy to become spoiled.
  As a coffee drinker, pretty much any place has better coffee. The last coffee was undrinkable.
  Also, lots of dirt so don't bring your freshly groomed dog here.
  While it's a great place for some, of you're discerning, and prefer a friendly staff ,  this will not be your cup of tea.

  I love bringing my dog here to play! The cost of admission is just buy something. That is easy because their food is delicious and their beer selection is always good. My favorite Saturday morning meal here is a delicious cappuccino and tasty pastry (blueberry muffin FTW).
  
  The only negative to this place would be there is no parking lot, but street parking is usually not that difficult to find.
  
  It's a great spot to have a puppy play date. Dogs can play and owners can sit around the yard and relax. I will continue coming back for as long as they are open!

  I've been here several times since my last review. Have always had a good leisurely time here. But today was different.
  
  We decided we would not sit at the bench as it was in the sun and chose to sit further towards the back near the pile of chips. To my horror, we were surrounded by dog poop that owners do not pick up!
  
  Please for crying out loud, pick up your dog's droppings. There are rakes and bags for everyone to use yet there are dried up poop! c'mon people!!

  Finally stopped by to check out this place because of the dog park. My iced dirty chai and breakfast sandwich was really good. I like the idea of the dog area, and it is a good size....but it is ALL dirt. Not just flat ground with no grass, but actively like one to two inches thick of dirt on the ground mixed with a small amount of wood chips. You probably should avoid flip flops or any shoes you like if you'll be back there. And be prepared to clean your dog off when you get home!
